FACTORY17

Factory 17 is a unique event that brings together the top Accelerate2030 entrepreneurs from Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe alongside Geneva’s visionaries, financial leaders, disruptors and change makers who have all responded to their own call to adventure.

Through an evening of powerful storytelling during the Building Bridges Week, our innovators will share their inspiring personal stories of how they undertook their journey towards creating a new, sustainable and regenerative financial system.

By gathering leading voices from our global network of change-makers, we want to explore together the different ways to move towards a society that recognises the inherent interconnectedness between humans and nature and the need to repair and revitalize our environment.

WITH NATURE

By denying our interconnection with nature, we got trapped in a structurally violent system of our own making and it is time for a substantial change.

To bring the natural system into balance, a new economy that respects the limits of natural resources and the functions of ecosystems is fundamental and understands our interdependence with our environment. This requires a transformative shift in how we value our natural environment, use and dispose of resources, creating a circular system, as in nature.

Solutions that combine ecology and economy, and innovative business and financial models that create value based on a regenerative system and the potential of circular ideas are key for restoring the balance.

Accelerate2030 is a global program initiated in Geneva with the mission to scale the impact of entrepreneurial solutions for the SDGs. Bourn out of it, Factory17 offers concrete opportunities for engaging directly with the bright minds shaping tomorrow.
